El OB-R-1081 fue el unico 727 que uso el pintado original en rojo y rosado andino, esta avion, un 727-015´s fue adquirido de Eastern airlines y fue el primer Boeing 727 operado por esta compañia.
The
OB-R-1081 was the only 727 that wore the red and andean pink scheme, this aircraft, a 727-025 came from Eastern airlines and was the first 727 used by Aeroperú.

La suiguiente lamina muestra el pintado utilizado por el 1081, curiosamente parte del timón de profundidad estuvo tambien pintado de rosado, el numero de registro fue llevado en la parte superior del ala izquierda e inferior del ala derecha y logos del Pratt & Whitney en las gondolas de los motores laterales.
The following graphic shows the scheme used by this unique aircraft, curiously, the horizontal stabilizator was also painted pink, the registration was also set on the upper left and lower right wing, Pratt & Whitney logo on the side engines were also a typical 727 feature.

Dos fotos más de esta interesantemente pintada aeronave, la primera muestra el avión despues del aterrizaje en Arequipa, en la foto inferior una interesante toma de este avión el la rampa norte nacional del aeropuerto internacional en Lima, notese en el fondo el Cessna T-41D de la escuela de aviación del Perú y diversos Douglas DC-3, DC-4 y DC-6 de Faucett.
Two other interesting pictures of the colorful aircraft, the first in Arequipa and in the botton in the north national ramp at Lima international Airport, note the Cessna T-41D of the national aviation school in the background and some old faucett´s Douglas DC-3, DC-4 and DC-6 aircraft.
